Sachin Tendulkar hospitalised a week after testing positive for COVID-19

New Delhi: Former India cricket captain Sachin Tendulkar on Friday said he has been hospitalised as a precautionary measure, nearly a week after he tested positive for COVID-19.

The 47-year-old cricket legend was infected with coronavirus on March 27 after which he had quarantined himself at home.

Apart from informing that he has been hospitalised, Sachin wished all Indians & his teammates on the 10th anniversary of India's World win. On this day in 2011, the Indian cricket team created history by clinching their second ODI World Cup. Sachin was part of the team. He scored 18 runs in the final match. (UNI)
