Simple winter laddu recipe

Eating dry fruits and nuts is very beneficial in winter, so you can make laddu with these ingredients

Take 2 cups of urad flour, 50 g of dry ginger powder, 150 g of gond, 200 g of coconut powder

350 g of powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, desi ghee as required

1 big bowl of finely chopped almonds, dates, walnuts, a few saffron strands

Heat ghee in a pan and roast finely chopped gond. When it swells and doubles in size, take it out from the ghee

Add urad flour to remaining ghee and roast it on low flame till aroma comes out. If required, add more ghee to it

Once the flour gives out fragrance, add dry ginger powder and roast again. Switch off the flame and take out this mixture in a big plate and cool it

In the same pan, add some ghee and roast the chopped dry fruits. Add coconut powder, stir and turn off the gas, leave the ingredients in the pan

When the dal mixture is lukewarm, add sugar powder and all the other ingredients i.e. fried gond, chopped dry fruits, cardamom powder, saffron etc
