Influencer starved son to death by feeding him only sunlight to make him ‘Superman’
A Russian influencer has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for the death of his one-month-old son.
Raw food influencer Maxim Lyutyi wanted his baby boy Kosmos to be like ‘Superman’
Lyutyi reportedly believed exposing the baby to sunlight would grant him superhuman abilities
The newborn was only fed sunlight based on the fictional lore of the ‘Superman’
The infant’s mother was reportedly stopped from breastfeeding due to Lyutyi’s extreme dietary beliefs
Lyutyi also rejected traditional medical care and subjected Kosmos to cold baths, believing it would strengthen him
Lyutyi wanted to experiment on the kid and feed him purely with the sun, and then advertise it to others
However, the newborn died of ‘pneumonia and emaciation’ while on the way to hospital
