Actress Aditi Rao Hydari has alerted her fans to an impersonator contacting people under her name on WhatsApp.The Heeramandi star issued a statement on Instagram after learning that an unknown individual had been using her photos and approaching photographers with fake “photoshoot” requests.
“I wanted to flag something that a few people brought to my notice today. Someone has been pretending to be me on WhatsApp, using my pictures and messaging photographers about ‘photoshoots’,” she wrote.
Aditi urged people to stay vigilant and avoid responding to the number. She clarified that she never conducts professional communication through personal numbers.
“It isn’t me. I don’t reach out like this, and I don’t use any personal number for work. Everything always goes through my team. Please be careful and don’t engage with that number. If you come across anything odd, just let my team know,” she added, thanking those who alerted her and continue to look out for her.
Amid the unsettling incident, Aditi recently shared a heartwarming moment from her life. Last month, she posted pictures of herself spending a serene Sunday with rescued dogs. Praising the people who care for the animals, she wrote about enjoying “cuddles and squishes.”
“Sundays are for cuddles and squishes. More power to these incredibly inspiring humans for rescuing and looking after these furry babies. Tight slaps to evil humans who abandon them, torture them and behave like demons… thepetcafehyd devenshopesociety.
