B-town Actress Payal Ghosh joins Ramdas Athavale-led RPI

Mumbai:Bollywood actress Payal Ghosh who had earlier made allegation of sexual harassment against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, joined Union Minister Ramdas Athavale-led Republican Party of India (A).

Mr Athawale has been supporting Ms Ghosh and had even taken her to Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, demanding justice for her. He has been demanding the arrest of Kashyap.

Making the announcement in a press conference here, Mr Athavale said that RPI will get a good representative in the form of Ms Ghosh and added the RPI always stands with the victims of injustice.Ms Ghosh has been appointed as vice-president of the women's wing of the party.(UNI)
