Actress turned politician Nusrat Jahan, is hogging the limelight for all unwanted reasons. She has termed her marriage with turkey-based conglomerate Nikhil Jain as illegal. There were rumors that she is pregnant and now a picture of her has confirmed the fact. In the photo, she is seen flaunting her baby bump.
Nusrat's husband Nikhil has already stated that there is no linkage between the fetus and him. It is worth noting that Nusrat has developed a closeness with a BJP leader with whom she had gone for a holiday months ago.
Recently Nusrat has said that as she got married on foreign soil and in accordance to Turkish Marriage Regulation, it stands invalid as per the Hindu marriage act. She termed her bonding with Nikhil as Live-in relationship. Besides, She leveled allegations of financial fraud on Nikhil.
Replying to the above allegations, Nikhil stated that he got married to Nusrat in Turkey and threw a swanky reception in Kolkata. Both were living like husband and wife but many a time Nusrat was also asked to register the marriage, but she denied it. Nusrat's attitude started changing from August 2020. In November 2020, she moved to live in a personal flat.
On March 8, 2021, a case in Alipore Court was filed to nullify their marriage. Nikhil claims that she has helped Nusrat financially and on the contrary, she is leveling charges of fraud against him. (WD)
