Mumbai: The first teaser of 'Raid 2' has finally dropped, bringing back Ajay Devgn as the relentless IRS officer Amay Patnaik. This time, the stakes are even higher—Patnaik is taking on a jaw-dropping Rs 4,200 crore scam in what will be his 74th raid.

The teaser is packed with drama, action, and intense face-offs, giving a sneak peek into what’s coming. One of the biggest highlights is Riteish Deshmukh joining the cast and playing a powerful politician, setting the stage for a gripping showdown between his character and Ajay’s no-nonsense tax officer.

Ajay Devgn shared the teaser on Instagram with a bold caption: "74th Raid, Rs 4200 Crores. Iss baar baazi hogi sabse badi! #Raid2 Teaser out now! Knocking in cinemas near you on 1st May, 2025."

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, 'Raid 2' features a stellar lineup, including Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak and Amit Sial.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, with T-Series and Panorama Studios backing the project.

Following the massive success of the 2018 film 'Raid', the sequel dives deeper into real-life-inspired tax frauds and high-stakes financial investigation. Just like the first part, 'Raid 2' is based on true incidents where officers crack down on large-scale tax evasion with the help of intelligence agencies.

While Devgn continues his role as Amay Patnaik, Vaani Kapoor joins as the female lead, replacing Ileana D’Cruz from the first film. The sequel has been in the works since 2020, and with this teaser, the excitement is only growing.

'Raid 2' is all set for a grand theatrical release on May 1. Also, fans heading to theatres for Salman Khan’s 'Sikandar' on March 30 can expect the teaser to play alongside it.
