Hyderabad: Icon star Allu Arjun visited KIMS Hospital in Begumpet on Tuesday to console Sritej, who was seriously injured in the Sandhya Theatre stampede on December 4.
Telangana Film Development Corporation (TGFDC) Chairman Dil Raju accompanied him during the visit.
Arjun spent about 20 minutes at the hospital, speaking with doctors about Sreetej’s condition and offering words of comfort to SrItej’s father, Bhaskar.
Sreetej has been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past 35 days, following the tragic incident during the premiere of Pushpa 2. The stampede claimed the life of his mother, Revathi.
The actor informed the police in advance of his visit, adhering to their instructions. Heavy police security was deployed at the hospital during his stay.
The police emphasised the need for prior notification and a limited visit duration for security reasons.
Arjun had previously been served notices regarding the December 4 incident, which led to his arrest and subsequent release on bail.
