Assam singing sensation Zubeen Garg passes away in scuba diving accident in Singapore

Guwahati: Singing sensation from Assam Zubeen Garg passed away in Singapore after a freak accident. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that it is huge loss for the the state.

Zubeen was admitted in a critical condition after a scuba diving accident in Singapore. Singapore police rescued him from the sea and rushed him to the hospital.

He was immediately rushed to a local hospital in Singapore by ambulance, where doctors provided intensive treatment in the ICU and closely monitored his condition. The doctors later confirmed his death. Zubeen is survived by his wife.

Zubeen had travelled to Singapore to attend the North East Festival, where he was scheduled to perform on Friday. News of the accident has left his fans and well-wishers deeply worried, with prayers pouring in for his speedy recovery.
