Mumbai: Continuing to set new benchmarks at the box office, ‘Baahubali 2-the Conclusion’ (Hindi version) crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office in India in the first ten days of its release, trade sources said.‘Baahubali 2‘ (Hindi) collected over Rs 70 crore more in its “second weekend”, taking its earnings in the first ten days to Rs 321.50 crore in India.
Trade sources said what is remarkable about the film’s box office performance is the fact that it’s collection in the second weekend is better than the earnings in the opening weekend by many top earning Bolywood films like Raees (RS 59.83 crore), Jolly LLB 2 (Rs 50.46 crore) and ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ (RS 43.
05 crore).
The film has thus entered the Rs 300 Crore Club, entering the league of films like ‘Dangal’,’ PK’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan’.What makes the performance by ‘Baahubali 2’ commendable is the fact that it managed to cross the Rs 300 crore mark in its first ten days as also the fact that it managed to achieve the feast without the presence of any of the three Khans.
