'Begum Jaan' to hit theatres on April 14

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan's forthcoming film 'Begum Jaan' will be released on April 14.Vidya, who plays the title role of madam of a brothel in the film, took to Twitter to announce the release date of the flick.

The talented actress shared an image, with the caption '14th April it is'.Produced by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, the historical drama is being directed by National Award winner Srijit Mukherji, who is making his directorial debut in Bollywood with this movie.

'Begum jaan' also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Rajat Kapoor, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Ila Arun, Ashish Vidyarthi and Chunky Pandey in key roles.The film was earlier slated to release in January, but the makers postponed the release date. (UNI)
