Bollywood stars take to social media to wish the nation “Eid Mubarak”

Mumbai: As the nation celebrates Eid–Al-Fitr, Bollywood celebs have taken to social media to wish the nation well on the sacred day.

Many of them also wished their fans on the occasion of the spring festival of Akshaya Tritiya, celebrated across India and coincides on the same day as Eid this year.

Actor Abhishek Bachchan, whose latest release 'Dasvi' premiered on the OTT giant Netflix and received humongous praise for his performance, shared a beautifully hand-drawn colourful picture in which his avatar can be seen giving a hug to a Muslim, with "#EidMubarak" written along with the photo.

Priyanka Chopra shared a heartwarming message on her Instagram Stories on the occasion of Eid. She wrote, “Eid Mubarak everyone. May your homes and hearts be filled with love! Majorly missing the sevaiya and biryani back home.”

Dia Mirza took to Twitter and shared a picture of herself with her son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi on his first Eid. The mother-son duo donned white in the picture. The actress wrote, “Eid Mubarak everyone. Wishing you and your loved ones peace, health and happiness. This is our little ones first Eid and we pray that everyone is safe and with loved ones.”

Madhuri Dixit Nene, who recently headlined the Netflix thriller series 'The Fame Game', took to her Twitter account and wrote, "#EidMubarak to everyone celebrating! May this auspicious occasion bring prosperity to all! #Eid #EidUlFitr #Festival".

Basking in the glory of his latest film “KGF: Chapter 2” and lauded for his performance, Sanjay Dutt also took to Twitter to wish his fans across the nation a happy Eid and Akshaya Tritiya. “Wishing you and your family peace, happiness and good health on the auspicious occasion of Eid and Akshaya Tritiya”.
