Clean chit to Shah Rukh in manhandling and abusing case

Mumbai: The city police have given a clean chit to Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan in manhandling and abusing the security guard during Indian Premier League (IPL) match played at Wankhade stadium in 2012. The police has submitted its inquiry report to Metropolitan Magistrate court today stating that at the time of incident, Mr Khan was neither drunk nor abused any security guard during IPL match played in 2012.

Mr Khan was the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders team. He was present in the Wankhade stadium in 2012. A person had filed a complaint against Mr Khan alleging he (Khan) had manhandled and abused security guards, who were discharging their duty in the stadium.On the basis of complaint ,police was asked to conduct the inquiry and submit the report in the court. After thorough inquiry, police have submitted its report in the court, giving clean chit to Mr Khan. (UNI)
