Popular TV actress Deepika Singh Goyal's mother has been detected positive for novel coronavirus. Delhi resident Deepika who became popular after daily soap "Diya aur Baati Hum" has requested CM Arvind Kejriwal to take care of her mother.
The actress tweeted with caption:- My mom & dad are in Delhi. Mom has been diagnosed with Covid positive & Lady Hardinge hospital didn’t give reports only allowed my father to click its picture. I really hope the concerned personnel are reading this and my mom there receives some relief. @ArvindKejriwal @PMOIndia
In a video Deepika tells that she belongs to a joint family of 45 members which poses an even bigger threat of corona infection. She added that the condition in Delhi is quite miserable these days.
All the hospitals are jam-packed and there is no bed available to any active cases. Her sister was taking care of Deepika's mother as she was in-home quarantine.
Taking cognizance of Deepika's plight AK made sure her mother gets a bed as soon as possible. In return Deepika thanked the Delhi CM with caption:
