Mumbai: A special NDPS court here on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik till October 6.
Both of them were produced before the court in heavy police protection after their 14-day judicial custody ended today.Meanwhile, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is expected to approach the court for seeking a day's custody of Showik.
The sister-brother duo, along with several others, were arrested in probe of the drugs angle related to the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
Meanwhile, Defence lawyer Satish Maneshinde apprised that Rhea and Showik have filed a bail application in the Bombay High Court. The hearing in the matter is scheduled for September 23 before Justice S V Kotwal.(UNI)
