Bollywood bigwig Karan Johar and celebrated fashion designer Manish Malhotra has unveiled the logo of forthcoming production house of Usha Kakade, a trailblazer in construction and dedicated social activist.
Several prominent figures from the Hindi and Marathi film industries, including Isha Koppikar, Rinku Rajguru, Laxmi Narayan Tripathi, Sumedh Mudhalkar, Tanisha Mukherjee, Sharmila Thackeray, Abhijeet Khedekar, Smita Gondkar, Sonali Kulkarni, Gauahar Khan and Ashoke Pandit were present at a five-star hotel in western suburb of Bandra last evening (Tuesday).
"... Usha will always have my support, and I am sure Usha Kakade Productions will be a tremendous success," Johar stated in a press statement on Wednesday.
He also anticipated UKP's first film, "Vicky - Full Of Love", underscoring his appreciation for Marathi cinema.While, Malhotra, whose designs have graced countless films, applauded Kakade for her foray into film.(UNI)<>
