Katy Perry Makes Her Relationship With Justin Trudeau Instagram Official

Singer-songwriter Katy Perry appears to have confirmed her relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau by making it Instagram official.

The pop icon shared a heartwarming carousel of photos from her vacation in Japan, including a cosy selfie with Trudeau. One photo shows the duo leaning cheek-to-cheek and smiling, while a video captures them enjoying a meal together and exploring Japan. Perry captioned the post simply: “Tokyo times on tour and more.”

This update comes shortly after Perry accompanied Trudeau on his visit to former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife. While posting about the meeting, Kishida referred to Perry as Trudeau’s “partner.”

“Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch… I am delighted that we continue to maintain this friendship in this way,” Kishida wrote.

Trudeau responded graciously, saying, “Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko.”

Rumors about their relationship first surfaced in July, when Perry and Trudeau were spotted dining together at Le Violon restaurant in Montreal. That dinner marked their first public appearance together and quickly fueled social media chatter about a possible connection.

Then images of Trudeau emerged at Perry’s sold-out “Lifetimes” tour in Canada.

The couple was also recently seen sharing affectionate moments aboard Perry’s yacht, Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, on October 6, according to The Mail. Photos captured by tourists on a nearby whale-watching boat showed the pair kissing and embracing on the yacht’s upper deck.

The pair first went public on October 25 in Paris during celebrations for Perry’s birthday.
