New Delhi: The makers of the Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh-Shahid Kapoor starrer 'Padmavati', which has been wrapped in a controversy with members of the Rajput community protesting against the film which they say insults their sentiments, have deferred the release of the film.The revised release date of the film will be announced soon, Viacom 18, the co producers of the film, announced in a statement issued on Sunday.
'Viacom18 Motion Pictures, the studio behind ‘Padmavati’ has voluntarily deferred the release date of the film from December 1, 2017,' the producers of the film announced. (UNI)
