New Delhi: Reacting to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's reference to Bollywood when asked about 'dynastic politics' at the University of California yesterday, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor today said that 'each member of the Kapoor generation was chosen by the public based on merit'.
Addressing students and intellectuals at the University of California in Berkley yesterday, Rahul, when asked a question of dynasty politics, had cited the example of Abhishek Bachchan while explaining that 'dynasty legacy' was a normal thing in India.Reacting to Rahul's speech, Rishi Kapoor, in a series of tweets, said,"Rahul Gandhi.In the 106 years of Indian cinema of India, Kapoor's contribution is 90 years.
And each generation is chosen by the public on merit", By God's grace we are in 4 generations.
