New Delhi:The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a petition seeking a probe by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the death of Hindi cinema actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The petitioner, one Alka Priya, has urged the court to transfer the investigations of the death case from Mumbai Police to the CBI.
"The Mumbai police is probing the matter. You (Alka) can go before the Bombay High Court and seek appropriate relief if you desire," a three-judge bench of Apex Court headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) S A Bobde said.
"There is nothing in the appeal. Petitioner has no locus standi in the matter," the bench said and dismissed the petition.
