Veteran actor Anupam Kher had an anxious start to his day after misplacing his credit card during his morning walk. What followed, however, turned into a heartwarming moment that restored his faith in human honesty.
After searching for hours and fearing the card was lost for good, Kher received an unexpected call that brought instant relief. The credit card had been found by a security guard, Sanjay Yadav, who made sure it was safely returned to its owner without expecting anything in return.
Taking to Instagram, Kher shared a video expressing his gratitude and applauding Yadav’s integrity. Recalling the incident, the actor said he was extremely worried after realising the card was missing, especially since it did not have a PIN.
“Sanjay Yadav ji, you are truly a great man. My credit card fell while I was out on my morning walk. I searched everywhere and was very tense because there was no PIN on it. Then I got a call informing me that someone had found my card. What a beautiful thing to do. He found my credit card and returned it,” Kher said in the video.
The actor’s post quickly drew praise online, with many lauding the security guard’s honesty and sense of responsibility.
On the work front, Anupam Kher has recently wrapped up shooting for Khosla Ka Ghosla 2, the sequel to the much-loved 2006 film directed by Dibakar Banerjee. Prior to that, he directed his second film, Tanvi The Great, which marks the debut of Shubhangi Dutt in the lead role.
