Shabana nominated Global Leadership Ambassador

New Delhi: Veteran Bollywood actor and former Rajya Sabha MP Shabana Azmi has been nominated the Global Leadership Ambassador for Women in the Public Service Project in the US.
Announcing this on social media, the actress said, 'Am honored to be nominated as Global Leadership Ambassador for Women in Public Service Project at Wilson Centre USA.' The Global Women’s Leadership Initiative has hosted the Women in Public Service Project at the Wilson Center since June, 2012.

The Women in Public Service Project is aimed at accelerating global progress towards women’s equal participation in policy and political leadership to create more dynamic and inclusive institutions that leverage the full potential of the world’s population to change the way global solutions are forged.(UNI)
