So young, gone too soon: B-Town on Sushant Singh Rajput's death

New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput’s death creates another setback for the Bollywood, and the celebrities remembered him as a young talented actor who has gone too soon.

Sushant allegedly committed suicide in Mumbai.  He was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra. He was 34.

The Bollywood and Television fraternity expressed their shock and condoled Sushant’s death on their social media handles.

Akshay Kumar said, “Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless...I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor...may God give strength to his family.”

Shabana Azmi said, “What ? Why ?  Psychiatrists say suicide can be prevented if those around can read the signals and seek medical help and counselling. What a loss for the film industry #Sushant Singh Rajput -Deeply tragic.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “I can’t believe this at all... it’s shocking... a beautiful actor and a good friend... it’s disheartening #RestInPeace my friend #SushantSinghRajput Strength to the family and friends.”

South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu said, “Shocked beyond words to learn about #SushanthSinghRajput’s untimely demise. A powerhouse of talent... Too young to go... May his soul find peace and light. My deepest condolences and strength to the family to cope with this tragic loss.”

Swara Bhasker said, “No No No!!!!! Horrible heartbreaking news of the passing of #SushantSinghRajput ! Shocking & sad beyond words!!! Goodbye Sushant.. you were such a wonderful performer and had such a long long way to go! Don’t know what you were going through but I’m sorry for your suffering!”

Kunal Kemmu said, “I can’t process this news about #SushantSinghRajput just feel so sorry and sad that even though he was so gifted and was loved by millions somewhere he still felt alone angry and helpless? Love to you brother wherever you are.”

Koena Mitra said, “You can never know what others are going through. Their struggles, their pain, their desires..... Kindly stop mocking, bullying, and stop imposing your ways on everyone.  Kindly be kind to all. Gone too soon. Om Shanti.”

Coming from a humble background, Sushant switched from TV to films and shot too fame with his Bollywood film ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, in which he essayed the role of the Indian wicketkeeper and skipper.

Last week, Disha Salian, who used to manage Sushant’s work, ended her life.

He was recently seen in the film ‘Chhichhore’ and his last appearance was in the Netflix film ‘Drive’. (UNI)
