New Delhi: Mathematics educator best known for his Super 30 programme, Anand Kumar has been conferred with the Padma Shri award.
A personal and professional journey that is nothing short of inspirational, Anand’s genius and passionate drive was brought to the fore and presented to audiences across the nation in the Hrithik Roshan headlined ‘Super 30’.
Started by Anand, the programme selects 30 capable students every year from poor financial backgrounds and financially oppressed areas of Indian culture and prepares them for the JEE.
Hrithik who portrayed Anand in his film ‘Super 30’, was among the first to congratulate the educator on his honourable win.
On Thursday, Hrithik took to social media, and wrote, “Super news! The result of good work is always good. Congrats Padma Shri”.
‘Super 30’ is a 2019 biographical drama film produced by Phantom Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Reliance Entertainment and HRX Films. It also stars Mrunal Thakur.
