Mumbai: Paralympic champion Avani Lekhara shares it is her favourite movie moment, Bachchan's Timeless Classic Bhootnath, on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 on Friday.

Megastar Bachchan's hosted ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati will feature three incredible Paralympic athletes: Navdeep Singh, Sumit Antil, and Avani Lekhara.

These champions have represented India at the recently concluded Paralympics in Paris and brought medals home, making everyone proud.

In the episode filled with inspiration and hope, Avani Lekhara takes a moment to talk about her favourite movie, featuring Amitabh Bachchan.

She shares, "Sir, everyone talks about your films and picks out their favourite ones. There are so many iconic films to pick from but my favourite film of yours is 'Bhootnath.' I was very young at the time, and my father had a transferable job, so we moved around a lot, which made it hard for me to make friends, especially since I was a bit of an introvert. When I watched 'Bhootnath,' I loved it so much. I wished for a friend like Bhootnath! It was the first time I saw a ghost portrayed as a superhero, and it wasn’t scary at all. I remember thinking how amazing it would be if I were in Banku’s place, just hanging out with Bhootnath."

Overwhelmed with her sweet memory of the movie, Bachchan shares, "Thank you very much for sharing that. The story of 'Bhootnath' is indeed wonderful. As you mentioned, Banku initially doesn’t believe in ghosts, but later, his connection with the ghost is beautifully portrayed. I'm glad you brought up 'Bhootnath.' The director recently messaged me, suggesting that it’s been many years since the film’s release, and we should consider re-releasing it. If he watches this program, he will be very pleased to see that people still remember and cherish the movie."
