New Delhi: One of the most versatile singer of his generation, Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK, who passed away on Tuesday night, has left a void in the Hindi music industry.
The singer had delivered some of the iconic songs of Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi like ‘Beete Lamhein’, ‘Zara Si’, ‘Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai’, among others. Emraan took to his social media handle and penned a heart wrenching note for the songster.
“A voice and talent like no other.. They don't make them like him anymore. Working on the songs he sang was always that much more special. You will always be in our hearts KK and live eternally through your songs. RIP Legend KK #ripkk,” Emraan said in his note.
KK began his career by singing for advertisement jingles, and made his film debut with an AR Rahman soundtrack. He had recorder over 700 songs. He had also sung many television serial songs. (UNI)
