Maharashtra reported 2,813 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hrs

Aurangabad/Mumbai: Maharashtra reported 2,813 new Covid-19 cases and one death, according to health bulletin on Friday.

With the new cases, the state’s cumulative case tally has surged to 79,01,628 and the death toll is at 1,47,867.

Meanwhile, 1047 cured patients were discharged during the day across the state, taking overall count of recoveries to 77,42,190.

The state's recovery rate significantly came down to 97.98 per cent and fatality rate 1.87 per cent.

Presently, 11,571 active patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals, the bulletin added.

Meanwhile, four positive patients were reported across in Aurangabad district followed by three in Latur and Two each in Beed and Osmanabad districts while no new patient was reported in the rest of four districts of Marathwada region of state, the bulletin further added. (UNI)
