Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao on Monday undertook an aerial survey of the ongoing renovation works at the famous Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri Bhongir district.
Mr.Rao also took an aerial survey of the site selected for 'Yagna Shala" and temple township. Energy Minister G.Jagdish Reddy, MLAs G.Sunitha and Kishan Kumar and officials were with him during the aerial survey of the temple renovation works.
The Chief Minister also performed special pooja to Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy at "Balalayam" (temple). On arrival at the temple "Archakas" (priests) welcomed him with "poorna kumbham".
He reviewed the ongoing works with the temple officials which are being given finishing touches now.
It may be mentioned that the state government had taken up the temple renovation works at a cost of Rs.12,000 crore and the renovated temple is likely to be inaugurated on March 28. (UNI)
