Moscow: Haitian police have identified 28 suspected murders of President Jovenel Moise, 26 of them are Colombian citizens, the Reuters news agency reported, citing National Police Chief Leon Charles.
Two other suspects are citizens of Haiti.Charles added that eight suspected murders were still searched.

The unit of mercenaries that killed Haitian President Jovenel Moise consisted of 26 people, national Elections Minister Mathias Pierre said, as quoted by the Reuters news agency.
He also confirmed that the next presidential election would be held on September 26 as it had been planned earlier.
Moise was shot dead in his private residence on Wednesday morning, and his wife was injured in the attack. Six individuals involved in Moise's assassination have been arrested so far, and another seven have been killed.

Suspected murderers of Haitian President Jovenel Moise are retired Colombian military, Colombian Defense Minister Diego Molano Aponte said.
"Over the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise, Interpol has asked today the Colombian government and national police to share the information about perpetrators of this crime. The preliminary information shows that these are Colombian citizens, retired military of the national army," the minister wrote on his Twitter page on late Thursday.
He added that the Colombian government had told police and the army to immediately assist in the investigation.
PM condoles assassination of Haiti President
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise.Mr Modi took to twitter to offer condolences to the family of President Moïse and the people of Haiti.
"Saddened by the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse and the attack on First Lady Martine Moïse of Haiti. My Condolences to the family of President Moïse and the people of Haiti," PM tweeted on Thursday night.
On Wednesday, Haitian President was assassinated in an attack on his private residence. His wife, first Lady Martine Moïse was hospitalized following the attack.After the assassination, the Caribbean nation had declared a state of emergency.(UNI)
