Trouble mounts for Azam Khan who is already behind the bars

Rampur: One more case was registered against Samajwadi Party (SP) MP who is currently in the Sitapur jail at the Azim Nagar police station here on Saturday. 
On a written complaint by Sadar tehsil Revenue Inspector Manoj Kumar, an First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against Mr Khan under the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act. 
 
Police sources said that it has been alleged that Mohammad Ali Jauhar Trust Chairman and University Vice-Chancellor Azam Khan is in illegal possession of 0.286 hectares in the Singankheda village in Tehsil Sadar. Four walls were also constructed on the land. 
 
The SP MP is currently in the Sitapur jail in a forgery case. Apart from Azam Khan, his Legislator wife Tanzin Fatima and MLA son Abdullah Azam had surrendered before a local court in Rampur on February 26 from where they were first sent to Rampur and then the Sitapur jail.(UNI)
