Colombo: A person in Sri Lanka was killed on Monday over a petrol stealing dispute in Borella, media reports said.
NewsWire reported that the individual was murdered after being attacked with a "sharp weapon at a fuel queue on Castle Street in Borella".
The Police said that an argument that had occurred over the stealing of petrol from a motorcycle resulted in the murder of the individual.
The deceased, identified as a 40-year-old, and the suspect, 29, were residents of Castle Street, Borella.
The police has arrested the suspect and are also carrying out further investigations into the matter. (UNI)
