New guidelines have been issued for devotees visiting the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, bringing significant changes to entry rules for darshan.
According to Champat Rai, General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, devotees must strictly follow the updated regulations to be allowed entry and offer prayers to Ram Lalla.
Under the new rules, carrying mobile phones inside the temple premises is now completely prohibited. Devotees will not be allowed entry if they are found carrying phones.
Additionally, individuals arriving with personal security personnel will not be permitted to bring those guards inside the temple complex. Entry for security staff accompanying visitors has been disallowed.
The guidelines also strictly ban the carrying of any weapons within the temple premises, including licensed revolvers, swords, or firearms. However, in accordance with religious rights, members of the Sikh community are allowed to wear a small Kirpan, as permitted by law. This exemption applies specifically to Sikh devotees.
The new measures aim to enhance security and ensure a smooth and safe experience for all visitors at the temple.
