17 Amarnath pilgrims injured in 3 bus collision in south Kashmir

Srinagar: 17 Amarnath pilgrims sustained minor injuries on Sunday in a road accident in Kulgam district of south Kashmir in a multi vehicle collision, officials said.

They said three buses collided at Khudwani area along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway resulting in injuries to 17 pilgrims, all residents of Madhya Pradesh.

Officials said the injured were promptly shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

" All the injured, including some women received minor injuries. The vehicles involved in the collision were towed away with the help of cranes, while the remaining yatris were safely accommodated in reserve buses to continue their journey,” they said.
