Mumbai: Nine people were injured following a stampede situation at the Bandra railway station in Mumbai here on Sunday morning, an official said.
 
The incident happened on Platform No. 1 when people rushed to board the Bandra-Gorakhpur Express at 5.10 am.
 
“On October 27, 2024, Antyodaya Express (Train No. 22921) was being slowly maneuvered from the Bandra Terminus (BDTS) yard to Platform No 1.
 
During this process, several passengers on the platform attempted to board the moving train, resulting in injuries to two individuals who fell while trying to embark,” Western Railway’s said in a statement.
