After Moon spotted on Sunday night, Eid -ul-Fitr being celebrated on Monday

Ranchi:The festival of Eid-Ul-Fitr would be celebrated on Monday across the state.On Sunday evening the moon was sighted after which messages started flooding the social media apps with people also extending their greetings to one another. 

However, in the wake of lockdown due to Coronavirus this time around mass prayers will not be offered in Idgahs or the local mosques. 

As only 5 people including the Imam would be allowed to offer prayers inside the mosque.The administration has urged the people to follow the guidelines of the central government as per which prayers would not be held in any place of worship or place of mass gathering. 
 
On the other hand the Ulemas have also urged the people to follow social distancing and even prominent organisations like Edar E Shariya asking the people to follow provisions of lockdown.
