Amaravati: Reacting sharply to the comments of Andhra Pradesh Unit BJP leaders, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is following the 'Alliance Dharma' and if the former do not want any truck with it we will go on our way.
“We are respecting the mitra darmam ( respecting alliance). If they (BJP) do not want it, we will go in our way.” he said while addressing a press conference in the Secretariat here on Saturday.
Mr. Naidu, while answering a question said that he is restraining the TDP leaders from making provocative comments against the BJP leaders. If the BJP leaders want to severe ties with the TDP, the TDP would go on its way, he said. The TDP is part of the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre.
When asked about BJP MLA Vishnukumar Raju making controversial comments against Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states Governor E S LNarasimhan, Mr.Naidu refused to make comments against the Governor. “I cannot respond on the demand of changing Governor” he stated.(UNI)
