New Delhi: A terrorist linked to al-Qaeda, who was allegedly trying to escape to Nepal, has been arrested, police said today. According to reports, the terrorist, identified as Raza Ul Ahmed, is involved in a fake currency racket and is a member of Ansar Bangla - Bangladesh based terror outfit - which has an affiliation with al-Qaeda.
Ahmed has been handed over to the West Bengal police, which had filed a case against him. However, police officials are not providing any further information. The arrest comes a day after the Army gunned down three terrorists in Kashmir. These terrorists were linked to the Zakir Musa faction which owes allegiance to the al-Qaeda. (UNI)
