Article 370 is nation’s commitment to Kashmir!

Srinagar, Nov 4 (UNI) Reiterating her resolve to protect the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday said that Article 370 is the nation’s commitment to the people of J&K and therefore should be honoured.

The comment by Mufti, who heads the PDP-BJP coalition government, comes four days after Supreme Court (SC) deferred by two months hearing on Article 35A which empowers Jammu and Kashmir legislature to define ‘permanent residents’ of the state.

“Article 370 is the nation’s commitment to the people of J&K and therefore should be honoured,” Mufti wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
