Lucknow: Suheldeo Bharatiya Samaj Party(SBSP), the alliance partner of BJP is raising its head against its big brother by threatening to snap ties and contest all eighty seats in UP if its demands are not met.
SBSP president and state cabinet minister Om Prakash Rajbhar on Friday announced that if BJP did not implement division under 27 percent reservation for the backwards to benefit the most backwards by January 24, then he will release the names of the candidates of his party in all the 80 seats on January 25.
" BJP has not kept its promise as they had committed to us to implement the division in the backward's reservation six months before the Lok Sabha polls. But now just 80 days are left and we are bit frustrated over the act of the BJP," he said.
He said the party had given 100 days time to the BJP to enforce the new reservation policy and the deadline of the time expires on January 24." The Centre took just 38 hours to decide on the 10 percent reservation for the upper caste poor, but they have failed to take the decision on the division of the backward reservation in five years, even after promising it to the people," he alleged.
Though the SBSP president denied that his party will join the SP-BSP alliance, and alleged that while one party is 'Saapnath' , the other one is 'Nagnath'.(UNI)
