Black fungus declared notified disease in this state

Chandigarh:Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Saturday said that black fungus has been declared a notified disease in the state.
Giving this information, the Health Minister said that black fungus disease has been notified in Haryana. Now, if a patient of black fungus is diagnosed in any government or private hospital of the state, it will have to be reported to the CMO of the local district so that appropriate steps can be taken to prevent the disease.
 
Mr Vij said that for the treatment of the disease, senior doctors of PGIMS Rohtak will conduct video conferencing with all the doctors who are treating Corona in the state and will inform them about the treatment of this disease.
 
Shivraj directs officers to constitute special ward for treatment of black fungus
 
With surge in cases of black fungus in the state, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday directed officials to make special wards in five Government Medical Colleges of the state for the treatment of the disease.
 
As per official sources, Mr Chauhan instructed senior officers to set up special wards in Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Indore and Rewa for the treatment of this disease.
 
During a high-level meeting, the Chief Minister discussed with experts about measures to curtail the spread of coronavirus and sought suggestions from them.For warding off the virus, it is necessary that people follow Covid-appropriate behaviour, he said.
 
Senior state officials, Dr Madan Gopal, Professor Sachin Chaturvedi, associated with an institution of Delhi and other experts gave their suggestions.(UNI)
