New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested three people in connection with the Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam.The CBI sources on Saturday said the then Deputy Manager of PNB Gokulnath Shetty, Single Window Operator (SWO) PNB Manoj Kharat and Authorised Signatory of the Nirav Modi Group of Firms Hemant Bhat have been arrested.
They will be produced on Saturday before CBI special court in Mumbai. Investigation in both the cases and examination of others is underway.In ED raids on the premises of Nirav Modi and Gitanjali Gems in several locations in the country on Thursday, the probe agency seized valuables worth over Rs 5,100 crore.
