CBI court founds Jharkhand CM Madhu Koda and 3 others

New Delhi: A special CBI court on Wednesday convicted four persons including former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda in a coal block allocation case. The Court has found Koda, former Coal Secretary HC Gupta, former State Chief Secretary A K Basu and another guilty of conspiracy, cheating and corruption in connection with the case. 

The court will pronounce it verdict on Thursday.The Special CBI Judge Bharat Parashar had earlier ordered all the accused to remain present in the court.The case relates to the alleged irregularities in allocating Rajhari north coal block in Jharkhand to Kolkata's Vini Iron and Steel Udyog Limited (VISUL).(UNI)
