New Delhi: Reacting to the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) raid on Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s residence, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the action was being taken as the 'world is talking about Delhi's education and health model'.

“On a day the biggest newspaper of the US praised the Delhi education model and printed Manish Sisodia's photograph, the Centre sent CBI to Manish's residence. CBI is welcome. We will give full cooperation. Searches/raids took place earlier too, but nothing was found. Nothing will be found now too.”

The CBI on Friday morning raided Manish Sisodia’s residence in an alleged excise policy case, Sisodia informed it through tweets.

Reacting on the raid, Sisodia tweeted in Hindi, “CBI has come. They are welcome. We are extremely honest. Making the future of millions of children. It is very unfortunate that those who do good work in our country are harassed like this. That is why our country has not yet become number-1.”

In a series of tweets, he added, “We welcome CBI. Will give full cooperation in the investigation so that the truth can come out soon. Till now many cases have been filed against me but nothing has come out. Nothing will come out of it either. My work cannot be stopped for good education in the country.”
