New Delhi: Reacting to the comments by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that '90 per cent of the IAS officers in Delhi do not work, senior Congress leader and former Delhi Chief minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday said Delhi has some of the most efficient bureaucrats and that they "helped me tirelessly in achieving my goal of transforming" the national capital. In post on social media, Ms Dikshit said,'Kejriwalji, Delhi has some of the most efficient bureaucrats.
They helped me tirelessly in achieving my goal of transforming Delhi.' Speaking at a function to felicitate pensioners of the power department, Mr Kejriwal said,'90% of them (IAS officers) do not work and hold up the files. I sometimes feel that the development was stuck up at the Secretariat.' Earlier, political analyst pawan Khera slammed Mr Kejriwal for his comments . "With the same bureaucracy @SheilaDikshit changed the face of Delhi. A poor craftsman blames his tools," he had tweeted. (UNI)
