New Delhi: Delhi Police said that it has arrested a 20-year-old boy for allegedly murdering three members of his family in the Neb Sarai area of South Delhi.

The police investigation revealed that Arjun was upset with his father Rajesh Kumar (51) and other members of family -- mother Komal (46) and his sister Kavita (23) -- for frequently scolding him over daily tasks and studies.

“The scene of crime was thoroughly examined by Forensic Crime Team. The said team in its examination obtained the crucial and clinching forensic evidence of blood traces that pointed the needle of suspicion over the son behind the murder,” Joint Commission of Police Southern Range Sanjay Kumar Jain told media on Wednesday.

“The forensic examination helped in giving major and irrefutable lead in the case to nail the accused and lift the veil of alibi and deception created by the accused son,” he added.
