Differences should be respected: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat after unfurling Tricolour in Bhiwandi

Mumbai: Unfurling the National Flag on the occasion of India's 76th Republic Day, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Sunday differences should be respected and cohesion is the key to living in harmony.

"Differences should be respected, and cohesion is the key to living in harmony," Bhagwat said in his address at a college after unfurling the National Flag in the power loom city of Bhiwandi in Maharashtra's Thane district.

The RSS head said along with the celebrations, Republic Day is an occasion to “remember our responsibilities towards the nation.”

RSS' Nagpur city chief Rajesh Loya unfurled the Tricolour at the organisation's headquarters in Nagpur.
