New Delhi: In a crucial diplomatic victory for the Modi government, there will be “no voting” on the EU resolution on CAA on Thursday.
Government sources said here on Wednesday evening that: “Friends of India prevailed over the Friends of Pakistan in the European Parliament today”.
“Strenuous efforts of outgoing British MEP, Shaffaq Mohammad to have a Resolution passed by the European Parliament against India on the penultimate day before Brexit were defeated,” the source said. (UNI)
