Duo arrested for Kidnapping raping & forcing girl to convert & get hitched

Firozabad: Two youths were arrested for kidnapping, sexually assaulting and pressurising a girl to get married after conversion in Narkhi area on the district on Tuesday, police sources said here.

Police said two youths enticed the victim and took her with them four days back. "When the family members could not trace the girl they lodged a complaint against two youths Gul Mohammad and Azhar Hassan and efforts were being made to nab the accused," they said.

Station House Officer (SHO) of Narkhi police station Pradeep Kumar Pandey said on the basis of a tip-off Gul and Azhar were arrested from Narkhi-Rajawali road and the girl was recovered.
"The victim told the police that the accused were pressuring her to convert and get married. She said during this the accused raped her," he said.The SHO said the accused have been sent to jail.(UNI)
