The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday conducted raids at Al Falah University in Faridabad, along with premises linked to its promoters and associated individuals, as part of its ongoing investigation into the Red Fort blast case, PTI reported.

Teams from the federal agency launched searches across multiple locations in Delhi-NCR early in the morning, beginning around 5 am.

According to officials, the ED is acting under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) after taking cognisance of FIRs registered by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Delhi Police. The probe is focused on analysing financial transactions and suspected terror-funding links.

Sources added that the University’s trustees are also under scrutiny.

So far, the NIA has arrested two individuals believed to be close aides of alleged “suicide bomber” Dr. Umar Nabi.

Al Falah University, which includes a medical college and hospital, is situated in the Dhouj area of Faridabad district near Delhi.
