Amethi: A small abandoned vessel inside the toilet of AC-3 tier coach B-3 of the Akal Takht train, sent the passengers in a tizzy today. Police here said that Amritsar-bound Akal Takht express train, on way from Kolkata, was stopped at Akbarganj station after some passengers noticed suspected item inside the toilet of the coach. After examining the contents of the vessel, some explosives were detected.
The bomb disposal squad was immediately rushed to defuse the explosive. Besides, a letter has been recovered which warns that there will be retaliation to the killing of top Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) militant Abu Dujana. Police has sent the explosive to the FSL for test. However, the train was detained at the station for nearly an hour. Later, the train proceed towards its destination. (UNI)
